The emitter was set in what looked like a parking lot of a L shaped motel. Last one I did was in a eastern level 3 province. I'm not really doing defend the emitter missions anymore, since I have all reb skills maxed. It's especially safe if you find a good hiding spot to use the drone from, like inside a concrete pipe. Calling in rebels and raining down mortars, as well as using diversions is generally plenty sufficient to overcome any base if things go sideways on you and you have to go loud. I'm finding Spotting is quite useful since on Extreme you have no orange clouds to indicate unmarked enemies. I have all Rebel skills maxed, and this is where they come in quite handy. I'm on Tier 33 now, so it's switched to Extreme mode. but I'm finding them much more tolerable than I thought they'd be. The solo campaign definitely has it's quirks. Those problems however are minuscule due to their tendency to warp to you whenever embarking in a vehicle large enough to hold them all. Sure there's also their tendency to get stuck, or not board a chopper, or for some reason hop out of a car just before you take off.

Not immersively, but evens just the same.Īll that said, I find 99% of the AI annoyances are related to where the player positions themselves, so these situations can mostly be avoided with just a little careful attention to practical vantage points. However at other times they pull off miraculous shots without even being anywhere near where they need to be to make them, so it evens out. A lot of times they won't even respond to manually trying to coax them where to go to get a good shot. It can be really annoying when you're waiting and waiting, often well past the most opportune times to sync, while one or two of them keep losing their target. They often can't get into proper position to take out an enemy you've synced them to. Click to expand.Yeah true, I do have my gripes about the AI.
